We visited our new doctor's practice this morning with both Caden & Reese. It was time for check-ups for both kids and unfortunately shots as well :(
Caden did such a great job at getting checked out. He remains in the 75th percentile for weight & height weighing in at 34lbs and 38.5in tall. He was a trooper though his tick shot, which is recommended over here to prevent lyme disease & encephalitis. He was rewarded with a sucker (dum-dums we brought from home which are QUICKLY running out)!
Reese is still off the charts! She is now over 18lbs and 27.5in long. She is sticking to clothes in the 6-9 month range and I hope it lasts a while! She also got 2 shots today. That is the hardest part of these visits. Everything else checked out well and we got the go ahead to continue with the rice cereal and slowly move on to more foods.
The doctor we saw today, Dr. Orsi, will not be our regular doctor, but will be available when our doctor is not (as today, she was on holiday). Dr. Orsi was great and had a wonderful rapport with the kids. It is so nice to feel well taken care of in a foreign country. I guess you never know what you'll get some places.

That is just so funny to me that Reese is so big! Good thing I gave you those newborn outfits! Maybe she and Kaitlin will grow up to be world class volleyball players and support their parents. ;-)
I'm glad both kids are so healthy and doing well. Be careful saying too much about Reese's size. Lily always says the only thing she ever hears about when she was a baby was how big she was. Not true, but that is what she thinks.
