Dearest Caden,
Poppy and Babee have a surprise for you today. It is not Christmas day yet but we wanted you to have your present early so you could help Poppy at the lake. You have always been such a big help, we thought you would like something just for you (you can share with Reese if you want to) so you can help with the leaves and pinecones.
Christmas Day is a special day because baby Jesus was born and because Santa will come visit you and leave you presents. It is a day to show how much we love each other—not just with presents but with hugs and kisses. You will have lots of gifts to open—but remember to give everyone hugs and kisses too!
We hope you love your early Christmas present as much as we love giving it to you.

Since child labor was prohibited long ago, we now call this Poppy labor...A labor of Love..What a great kid..I will install a seat belt for Reese.
